A good and inexpensive holiday in Montenegro - Part 2

But the main thing here sea. The Adriatic sea is very clean, because there is no characteristic odor, which creates algae, when they were not bank rolls, and they begin to decompose in the sun. A clean, clear sea, fine gravel and sand covering the beach, make a nice beach vacation for everyone. Consoles and the fact that almost all the beaches free - at the request may be taken in the use of sun beds and umbrellas for a couple of euros a day. The sun in the middle and the end of September is not as scorching as in summer, so you can lie quietly for hours in the sun.

Among the guests a lot of Russian and Ukrainian - about half of all guests Budva Riviera. The other half is made up of themselves Montenegrins, Serbs and others. People there are friendly and rarely try to trick you or to steal more money. The main thing - do not speak English, because it is not like for obvious reasons (the war in the Balkans). But the youth quite sympathetic to the English language - this contributes to the music that in Montenegro are very fond of. In addition to its beautiful music and singing, Montenegrins gladly listen to rock music, like Pink Floyd, The Beatles or the Scorpions.

We stayed in a villa in the village of Becici. The main part of this settlement are houses - such a mini-hotel or cottage, or just two-and three-story house, which shall be a room-room with bed, TV (satellite), air conditioning, kitchen with electric stove, sink and table, as well as bathroom with toilet and shower with hydromassage. This number is from 30 euros per person per night (breakfast included), if you buy a ticket through a travel agency Kiev, but it is better to contact directly the owners of the villa, then the price will be EUR 10 per person - three times cheaper. In this way you will be very helpful German language - in any case, you understand. German courses in Germany - the version that was purely by chance I get.

We chose Becici, because the beach here is much better than in the neighboring town of Budva. It is quieter because everyone goes for a walk in Budva. Budva reminds us Yalta and Koktebel put together. There's a lot of different cafes, discos and entertainment. To Budva to walk about half an hour. But can be reached by bus or small trains. As for me, there's nothing better than walking along the sea, can not be. It is better to live in or Becici Rafailovici (next town after Becici), and then go for a walk to Budva.

All travel offers many excursions, which are rather expensive. You can travel to many places yourself, how did we come to the bus station in Budva and buy tickets for the 2.5 - 3 per person. The first place we went was the ancient cultural capital of Montenegro - Cetinje. There is a monastery, where he still holds the hand of ion-Baptist. Monasteries there are not very interesting in architectural terms, compared with our Laura and other churches.

more we went on foot (round trip) to the peninsula of St. Stephen. This is a small village, the Peninsula, the city is located almost at the end of the Budva Riviera. Previously, it was a fishing village, but now there are very expensive, luxury hotels, where a break even Moscow Mayor Luzhkov. Unfortunately, there were not allowed there, because what's restoration, which will expire in two years. Quite a pleasant stroll around the park, and the beach there, in my opinion, even better than in Becici.

Another trip we made in the town of Kotor, situated on the banks of Boka Kotorska. Boca - means the bay. It is very big and long sea bay with many villages along the coast. Kotor - this is a very beautiful old stone town. But the most beautiful there - top view, if you go as we are, at the very top of the old Venetian fortress. On top you'll see a city with tile roofs and narrow streets. By the way, here is the narrowest street in the world. Stone houses are so tightly together that it is difficult to miss. Very beautiful place this Kotor, but be sure to get off up because excursions around this place it is clear why - who wants to climb so high?

Many times we went to the old town of Budva. It reminds of Kotor, but smaller. However, cafes, restaurants and shops there a lot more. Crowds fill the old town at night. If you, like us, likes to drink cocktails and eat interesting dessert, such as tiramisu, I advise you to visit a cafe Ice Club.

Another interesting place - an island of St. Nicholas. It is quite small and is close to Budva. You can get there by motor boat somewhere in 15-20 minutes and pay 15 euros for two and fro. On this island is the church of St. Nicholas, but it is in poor condition, so there's nothing to watch. A visit to the island need to swim in the cleanest and most water in the open sea. In addition, there are a few people and no one will interfere poplyazhuvaty in the buff.

Much can talk about the mountains of Montenegro, but it's better to go there myself. Let me just say that although they resemble the Crimea, but the higher and purer. By the way, in Montenegro is the second largest canyon in the world - Tara River Canyon. Skadar Lake is also very large. Both the first and second tours take all day, so we decided this time to look elsewhere, but the next time we will definitely look there.
