Bird's-nest

Crimea - a unique place for rest and recovery. The wonderful climate, clean air and curative mud offer excellent opportunities for the treatment of many diseases. A mass of ancient monuments of architecture and art can have a great time and learn a great deal.

Swallow's Nest has long been considered a hallmark of the Crimea. The castle is situated on the edge of a cliff, and it seems that it hovers above the sea surface.

first person Swallow's Nest was a retired general. For him, in the 19th century built a wooden house. His image is preserved in old photographs and paintings of famous artists Lagorio, Bogoliubov and Aivazovsky.

After his death, the restaurant was closed and the building handed over to the urban house relaxing in the reading room. Soon the room was closed again, recognizing an emergency. Access was not discovered until after the reconstruction in 1968, is re-opened restaurant.

Now "Swallow's Nest" works exhibition center. Admission is free.
